TREE TO TABLE

Old Cotton Tree Grove was born out of a passion for great produce, and the desire to produce high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil to share with our family and friends. Adhering to time honoured growing, harvesting and bottling processes, we aim to keep things as simple as possible. There is a reason olive oil has been produced this way for millennia. At OCTG we believe that quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) isn’t complicated, it’ s simply good. Old Cotton Tree Grove (OCTG) contains 3 olive varieties the Italian, Frantoio, Leccino . The Spanish, Picual.

Harvest time is a family affair. A combination of mechanical shaking and hand picking ensures that our 800 trees are harvested within days. The sorted olives are packed into crates and driven to a state-of-the-art processing plant in nearby Shoreham. Keeping things local means the shortest possible time from picking to processing and optimises the freshness, flavour and overall quality of the EVOO. Our olives are decanted into stainless steel vats within a temperature-controlled storeroom. It is here that the EVOO settles prior to bottling. From the grove to the table, each and every bottle has the same love and attention that we’re so proud of.
